ICA Film Screening & Discussion: Friday 1 September, 18.15-20.30

 

List members may be interested in this film screening and discussion about child refugees in the European context taking place at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London this Friday 1 September.

 

The director Nina Kusturica will participate in a panel discussion following the screening of her award­‐winning 2009 documentary ‘Little Alien’ about unaccompanied minors on the journey to Europe. Nina Kusturica was born in Mostar, Bosnia­‐Herzegovinia, in 1975 and has lived in Vienna since the beginning of the war in Bosnia‐Herzegovinia in 1992. The ICA panel will further comprise the filmmaker Sue Clayton who will show an extract from her latest film, ‘Calais Children: A Case to Answer’ (2017).
