The Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College London is seeking applications for a two-year position on Methods and Applications in Designing Consumption Rituals. The project is industry sponsored and benefits from a strong network of collaborators. 

Candidates who are comfortable using mixed methods to conduct behavioural research to inform design are encouraged to apply. A relevant PhD in design (HCI, human factors, etc.), marketing, applied psychology or equivalent experience is required. 

The appointment will ideally start in October but may be adjusted for the right appointee.

About the Dyson School
The Dyson School of Design Engineering is the newest department at Imperial College London and builds on the long-standing design and engineering expertise at Imperial. This includes the world-renowned Innovation Design Engineering (IDE) programme run jointly by Imperial and the Royal College of Art. The school is growing rapidly and is located on the South Kensington campus of Imperial College next to many of the national museums.
