Hi everyone,

I am writing to let you know about a new evaluation training workshop on visual evaluation methods that could be useful for museum computing practitioners interested in creative qualitative options for understanding audiences and their needs and interests. This workshop is taking place next to the Natural History Museum in London.

It features some visiting speakers from Denmark, who are doing cutting edge work in visual methods. An early bird discount is currently available for bookings (website: methodsforchange.org<http://methodsforchange.org>).

How to use Visual Evaluation Methods: First-person video, photo-elicitation interviews and annotated drawings<https://www.methodsforchange.org/event/use-visual-evaluation-methods-first-person-video-photo-elicitation-interviews-annotated-drawings/>

Monday 16 October 2017, 14:00 to 17:00

Dana Research Centre and Library, 165 Queen's Gate, Kensington, London

There is growing interest in creative methods of evaluation. The trick is to ensure that such creative approaches are also robust.

This workshop offers step-by- step guidance on how you can achieve this balance of creative and quality when using visual evaluation methods. The workshop introduces essential options in the visual evaluation methods toolkit.

This workshop is being offered with support from the British Science Association.

Best wishes,
Eric
