Hello everybody

 

We have recently upgraded our Blackboard and as a result we’ve encountered a problem with the link from Blackboard to the linked Talis Reading Lists using LTI.  Apparently this problem is only happening with the latest upgrade of the non-Community version of Blackboard and is caused by a change in the coding.  We’ve been told that a fix won’t be available until the next upgrade. 

 

Our temporary work around is for staff to copy the url of the reading list and to past it into a weblink button.  This is a manual process and I just know that it will be yet one more hurdle for lecturers, at a time we are working hard to demonstrate how seamless the process should be.

 

I am wondering if anybody out there has a better workaround than the one we are using?

 

I’m happy to summarise for the list if anybody wants to reply off-list.
