Our
School of Life Sciences, Pharmacy & Chemistry is urgently seeking to appoint
a
new External Examiner to cover the following UG Pharmaceutical Science modules.
The UG appointment will commence on 1st October 2017
for a period of four years:
CH4006 (biosciences 1)
CH5005 (pharmaceutics & pharmacology)
CH5007 (practical and research skills in pharmaceutical science)
CH6008 (drug development – bench to marketplace. The chemistry aspects can be allocated to another external if necessary)
CH6009 (topics in pharmaceutical science – including aspects of pharm tech, materials, IPR, regulation)
External Examiners are invited to comment on draft coursework briefs/examination papers and are required to audit samples of student work, attend assessment
boards and write an annual report.
New External Examiners are invited to attend an
induction day (usually held in November and April).
External Examiners are paid an annual fee of £450 and have reasonable travel/accommodation expenses reimbursed.
