Semester 1 Economics for Business (40 credits delivered long and thin over semesters 1 & 2) (Business pathway)
Introduction to English law and Systems (40 credits delivered long and thin over semesters 1 & 2) (Law pathway)
Academic Study Skills (20 credits) _ Generic module
Foundations of Business (20 credits) – Generic module
Semester 2 Accounting for Business (Accounting pathway)
IT skills for Business (Generic)
Foundations of HRM (Generic)
Economics for Business – (Business pathway)
Introduction to Legal Skills – (Law Pathway)
In addition to the above programme
Salford Business School is also looking for an external examiner for the following modules:

Business and the Accountant (L4 – 20 credits)
·
Principles of Accounting (A&F) (L4 – 20 credits)
We work with a number of partner organisations in the UK and overseas, so applications from people with experience of working with partners would be especially welcome.
We are looking for people who are suitably qualified with expertise in the above areas, ideally a Programme Leader
or Senior Lecturer on similar programmes/modules. Previous experience as an external examiner is preferred. The
appointment will be for the four academic years 2017-18 to 2020-21.
We currently run a two tier examination board system:
Our modular boards are for the consideration and ratification of module results
Our programme boards are for the consideration of results including progression and awarding students
