Bedford BC - OFFICIAL-Unsecure

Hello all,

A local dealer has offered us first refusal on the sale of two manorial documents, which he acquired via a house clearance. I had hoped they were drafts of the final court roll but although that may be partly the case they are substantially different to the court rolls we already have for that manor and it therefore looks as if we should acquire them.

Before I ask the dealer to name his price I thought I would ask if anyone has any ball-park figures for what they think is a reasonable figure for a late 17th and early 18th century manor court book.

Replies off list would be fine with me.

Regards
Pamela
