Fostering Creativity through Education and Culture
Joint Durham University-Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Conference

Durham University and the OECD are delighted to announce that our international conference – Fostering Creativity through Education and Culture – will be held on the 4th and 5th September, 2017, at Durham University, Durham, UK. 
This conference brings together international speakers and outstanding cultural sector practitioners and practicing teachers to academics from across the globe, exploring the latest research and practice in creative education, including the interim results of the OECD’s CERI project on “fostering and assessing students’ creative and critical thinking skills in education”. Keynote speakers include Darren Henley, Arts Council England. The conference will be delivered through a series of talks and interactive workshops, providing delegates with the opportunity to translate research into practice.

Durham University are subsidising the costs of the conference, and there is no delegate fee to attend. Delegates are asked to cover the cost of lunch and refreshments during the day, and, should they wish to attend, the conference dinner.
