Closing Date: 07/09/17
Salary: £49,772 to £59,400 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join two thriving research groups in the School of Health Sciences at The University of Manchester. We are looking for a Senior Lecturer to provide leadership in clinical trial statistics within the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre Clinical Trials Unit (MAHSC CTU) and to join the Centre for Biostatistics in the Faculty. We wish to recruit a statistician with a biostatistics or clinical trials background and broad experience of the application of statistical methods to applied research questions. Candidates should have knowledge of trial design, implementation and evaluation and of the regulatory framework for clinical trials research in the UK. A proven track record of published research in peer-reviewed journals and of obtaining grant income commensurate with a Senior Lecturer level appointment is essential.
