Production Editor

 

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge in STM journal production? Our client, a prestigious scientific society publisher based in central London, is looking for an experienced Production Editor. You will be joining their small, dynamic team producing high-quality journal content.

 

In this role you will:

·         Manage projects from post-acceptance to print and online publication

·         Control the quality and accuracy of content

·         Coordinate authors and contractors to meet deadlines

 

You will need to have experience in an STM publishing environment with a proven ability in copy-editing/proofreading, excellent attention to detail and project management skills. You will  possess a knowledge of mark-up languages and web technology. Adaptable and organised, you will enjoy problem solving and building strong relationships with stakeholders. A background in science is preferable. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established society publisher with a prestigious history.
