Hi there

After the buzz created around Genomics with the publication of the Chief Medical Officer's Annual report on Genomics earlier this month, the HEE Genomics Education Programme (GEP) has launched a short animation to demonstrate how the GEP is supporting health professionals to achieve Dame Sally's "genomics dream" for the NHS.

The animation illustrates the work the GEP is doing to educate and train all nursing professionals to gain the knowledge, skills and experience they need to embrace its extraordinary potential, and bring lasting benefits for patients.

As Dame Sally's report highlights, there has never been a greater need for raising awareness and understanding about genomic medicine among the NHS workforce, and we look forward to growing our collection of education, training and expertise opportunities to support all nursing professionals.
