Hi Brian

We use Shopify POS in Bristol across 4 sites. We have custom reports using the “Advanced Shopify/Annual” plan. This gives us all the info we need…… we also use the API to send some report data to Google sheets for other types of nerd-ing

The reports it lets you customise with various filters in Shopify are:

Sales

Sales over time

Payments

Payments by method

Taxes

Taxes collected over time

Visitors

Visitors over time

Customers

Customers by order value

Kind regards

Does anyone know if any of the listed institutions also use the POS hardware that accompanies shopify? We (at the Serpentine) are currently moving over to Shopify online and in store, we've been running the POS system as a pilot at one of our sites, so far no complaints and its a significant improvement on our previous system (Brightpearl).

Except that we were told the full NPO plan included custom reports and doesn't.

I'd add the Glasnevin Trust site. Not the best looking of puppies, the
most interesting aspect is that it /looks/ like it's achieved a widely
desired feature - ticketed events.

Example ‘Tour’ - https://shop.glasnevintrust.ie/products/daily-history-tour

Pretty sure it uses BookThatApp, a Shopify App, possibly Shopify
Assistant as well. It offers scheduling (date and time selection) and
multi-pricing (including free events).

Potential application includes Tours, Talks, Workshops etc vs the usual
retail mix.
