Join the Chair of the RDA Steering Committee (RSC) for an update on the latest developments in RDA: Resource Description and Access. Gordon Dunsire, Chair of RSC, will update attendees on implementation of the new governance model, the redesign of the RDA toolkit via the 3R project, and outcomes of recent meetings with specialist cataloguing communities in the areas of cartographic, A-V, rare materials, and archives cataloguing. The talk will be followed by an open discussion. The event will be of relevance to anyone involved in cataloguing and with an interest in international standards for describing library and cultural heritage resources.
