Dear Marie The problem with Nielsen ISBNs is their cost (£89 each), unless your Trust is planning to buy them in a batch. The ipubnet site at least offers a slightly reduced option (£15 for one ISBN plus £15 to produce the image). Another option is to use a UPC/EAN barcode which are more easily obtainable and typically cost under £10 each. These barcodes are acceptable on sites like Amazon as alternatives to ISBNs. However, given that many publications no longer have ISBNs, does your Trust's booklet really need one?
