Dear Colleagues, 

 

London Centre of International Law Practice (LCILP) cordially invites you to
its upcoming event on Maritime Delimitations and Hydrocarbon Resources in
Central America and the Caribbean, to take place in London on Friday, 21
July 2017.

 

This one day event will address the status of maritime boundary
delimitations in the region, 

In light of recent geological surveys on the energy potential of its
maritime zones. 

The applicableinternational legal framework will be outlined, while making a
thorough examination of already concluded bi- lateral maritime boundary
delimitation agreements, 

precedence(s) in international arbitration cases relevant to contested
maritime zones

in the region, and of existing international and regional frameworks on the
management 

of straddling and trans-boundary resources.

 

This high-level discussion will be facilitated by the attendance of
representatives from the

diplomatic missions of regional governments in London, representatives of
regional

organisations, energy specialists, international legal practitioners and
experts in international land & maritime boundary delimitations.
