Dear All,

One of our more pro-active users has just eMailed me to say that Apple are set to include an Auto-Answer facility in the imminent release of iOS 11 - which will allow the iPhone to be configured to answer a call after a set number of seconds.

This should prove to be a very important feature for those who don’t have any other method of answering an incoming call.

In addition, iOS 11 users may choose to have auto answer routed automatically to their loud speaker, Bluetooth earpiece or to the phone itself.

Apple’s Public Beta site:

NB: Like all beta versions the download does come with all the usual health warnings about potential bugs and crashes, however, during his past 48 hours of usage the user reports that he has found little - if any problem - with the beta software.

Otherwise, iOS 11 is scheduled for release in less than 8 weeks ...

Apparently users of JailBroken iPhones have enjoyed all the above features for donkey's years!
Hope this helps,

Peter.
