Thank you so much to everyone who responded to the below request. All input has been extremely useful and very much appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to compile lists, links and scans etc. Most people recommend Alison Turton's Managing Business Archives as the main resource for a business archive structure.

Kind regards
Sarah

Subject: Model Structures for Business Archives

Dear list,

Does anyone have access to a basic model for cataloguing business archives that they would be willing to share?

We have a new trainee who is about to catalogue one of our business collections and we are looking for a model that will provide guidance on the best way to structure a business archive catalogue. Not to suggest that the process is simple but we are looking for something that's fairly straight-forward as they have yet to undertake their archive qualification.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards
