Data Science for Cyber-Security 2017, Imperial College London: Call for Talks & Posters

We welcome contributed talks and posters to the Data Science for Cyber-Security workshop, Imperial College London, 25-27th September 2017. This event aims to showcase cutting-edge research into statistical cyber-security in academia, business and government, as well as help align these endeavours. Accepted abstracts will be invited to be presented at the conference in either a talk or poster format.

The use of data scientific techniques for cyber-security applications is a relatively new paradigm. This refers to the use of mathematics, statistics, machine-learning and/or Big-Data analytics to enhance detections and provide additional security over traditional techniques. We welcome contributions in this area, which could include, for example, applications in enterprise network security, fraud detection, risk management and monitoring, malware analysis, cyber-crime prevention and more. Also welcome are presentations of new cyber-security problems, information systems and data resources.

Abstracts up to 200 words will be considered. Please send to [log in to unmask], specifying whether you would like to be considered for a talk or a poster presentation. The deadline for submissions is Monday 14th August, 2017 (midnight, BST)
