The theme of the Symposium is focusing on innovative work in small area analysis and will examine the exciting possibilities of big data and new technologies to inform spatial and environmental health. The symposium’s opening address will be given by Professor John Newton, UK Chief Medical Officer, and the symposium will close with the Geoffrey Rose Memorial Lecture to be given by Professor Bert Hofman, Chair of the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health. Early Career Researchers are invited to submit abstracts for a 10 minute presentation and all researchers to submit posters to the symposium, five of which will be highlighted and chosen for presentation in the Poster Highlights session.
