Dear Colleague,

Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust currently has a vacancy for a Consultant Clinical Scientist based at Derriford Hospital. Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest acute care providers in the South West and is a Teaching Trust working in close partnership with the Peninsula Medical School, providing a range of general hospital services to around 464,000 people in Plymouth, North and East Cornwall and West Devon. The Trust has a turnover of more than £400m, employs over 6500 staff and provides tertiary services to over 2 million people living in Devon, Cornwall and Dorset for neurosurgery, cardiac and thoracic surgery, renal and bone marrow transplantation, radiotherapy and oncology. The department has a very good record for research with the recent purchase of new mass spectrometry (MS/MS, ICP-MS) and HPLC equipment.
