Dear Zooarch:
Can anyone provide a resource (online or pdf) for good illustrations/photos of bifurcated vertebral processes in zebu cattle?
I'm also interested in metric data for ostrich eggshell thickness.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
Cheers,
Dear Tania,
Barone gives the age of fusion for the domesticates, horse, cattle and sheep/goat, all have the coracoid fused at the age of around 10 to 12 months. Should be similar for red deer.
Cheers,
vern.

Objet : [ZOOARCH] Red deer scapula fusion
Dear Zooarchers,
would anyone be able to provide me with an age of fusion of red deer scapula? I can't seem to find any reference for this in my archive or the Zooarch mailing list.
Best wishes,
Tania
