Dear all.

I have this four bones. They look like bird bones but they are very eroded.
On the interior side they had a weblike texture.
Any suggestions?

Dear Fiona,
A similar question was posed some time ago on this forum and this reference came up as well as the van Bree one (which is dated by the way to 1974).
Fargher, S. and Morris, P. 1975 An investigation into methods of age determination in the badger (Meles meles). Unpublished report, Royal Holloway College, University of London?
All the best
Kevin

Thank you to those who have replied.
Unfortunately Hillson only illustrates the permanent dentition.
Does anyone have access to this paper that they could share?
Thank you
Fiona

Hello all,
A Friday question for you. Does anyone have any good diagrams or photos of badger (Meles meles) deciduous dentition?
Thank you as always
