The Statistical Showcase is a special event which explores the wide
spectrum of career paths available to young statisticians and users of
statistics.

The event will open with a morning training session followed by a number of
careers sessions covering a diverse range of statistical fields, including
medicine, finance, consultancy, government, environment, industry, sports,
technology and other applications.

With speakers from PSI Careers, Roche, NHS Blood and Transplant, Select
Statistics, BGL Group, Full Fact, Opta Sports, UCL, University of Glasgow,
Intel, Sony,  the Ministry of Defence, Department for transport, Government
Statistical Service, and Shell.

As well as two plenary sessions from our distinguished speakers, Professor
Jane Hutton and Professor David Hand.

The event will include lunch, sponsored by Roche, and will close with a
wine reception for networking and further discussion.
