Trwy ddefnyddio ffôn clyfar:

One might think that WiFi is such a widespread technology that no matter where you go, you will have access to a free hotspot and the Internet. While WiFi is indeed very popular it is far from being available everywhere. You might encounter many situations when you need Internet access but there is no WiFi network nearby. When that happens, you can use your smartphone and its 3G or 4G connection and you don't even need a cable. This tutorial will cover all steps necessary to share your Android smartphone's mobile network connection with other devices and turn it into a mobile wireless hotspot:”

Am ‘WiFi hotspot’ mae TermCymru’n rhoi ‘llecyn WiFi’, gyda’r nodyn “A hotspot is a physical location where people may obtain Internet access, typically using Wi-Fi technology, via a wireless local area network (WLAN) using a router connected to an internet service provider.”

Ond nid ‘physical location’ yw ffôn clyfar, ac nid ‘..Internet access, typically using Wi-Fi technology, via a wireless local area network (WLAN) using a router connected to an internet service provider’ sydd dan sylw yma, ond mynediad i’r rhyngrwyd gan gysylltu trwy’r ffôn â rhwydwaith darparwr gwasanaethau teleffoni symudol.

Mae geirfa Microsoft yn rhoi ‘lle gwe Wi-fi’ am ‘Wi-Fi hotspot’, ond ‘llecyn bywiog symudol’ am ‘mobile hotspot’.  Dwi ddim yn gweld o le ddaeth ‘bywiog’, yn bersonol.

Dwi ddim chwaith yn siŵr ydi ‘llecyn’ yn gallu bod yn symudol, ond wedyn, ydi ‘lle gwe’ yn gallu bod yn symudol?

Dwi’n mynd rownd mewn cylchoedd yma.
