Jisc are currently recruiting for two positions to play a key role in two major European projects around Open Science and research infrastructure.
The European Open Science Cloud for Research pilot project (EOSCpilot) project is a consortium of 33 pan-European organisations & 15 third parties covering a range of disciplines and organisations
working together to support the first phase in the development of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
OpenAIRE-Connect aims to provide technological and social bridges, and deliver services enabling uniform exchange of research artefacts (literature, data, and methods), with semantic links between
them, across research communities and content providers in scientific communication. It will introduce and implement the concept of Open Science as a Service (OSaaS) on top of the existing OpenAIRE infrastructure, delivering out-of-the-box, on demand deployable
tools.
The two roles offer those with an understanding of the research environment an exciting opportunity to work with partners across Europe, developing technical/interoperability requirements and defining policy
for critical elements of both these major initiatives.
