Access to Higher Education for Refugees and Asylum Seekers

The plight of refugees and asylum seekers, fleeing from war, persecution and poverty, has arguably never been more in the public eye. Many are young people, who are either displaced students or who wish to attend university in order to improve their life prospects. However, they face the same fees as international students and have no access to loans or grants that would help cover the costs of study.
