ARLG London and South East Visit to the RADA Library.

Thursday June 22nd from 11 am.-12.30 pm.

 

Address/meeting place: 18-22 Chenies Street London, WC1E 7PA. The nearest tube station is Goodge Street on the Northern line, 5 minutes walk away.

 

Background to the Collection/Library –The library was founded in 1904, with donations from many distinguished actors & dramatists of the period, in order to support the teaching work of RADA. The collection now has around 30,000 books, including some rare editions of 10,000 plays, & a film & video collection of 1000 items. It is open to all students & staff of RADA, & to outside visitors on payment of an admission fee.

The visit will include: A guided tour of the collections by the Librarian Mr James Thornton, followed by a Q & A  session  at the end

 

The visit is free, with a maximum of 10 places.
