Do you work in a public library in Scotland? Do you perform deselection (weeding) tasks as part of your role? Katie Rowley, an Information and Library Studies postgraduate student from the University of Strathclyde, is conducting a survey as part of her final dissertation, looking for:

· thoughts and opinions of collection management staff on deselection (weeding) in Scotland,

· current deselection practice and methods in Scotland,

· and future deselection concerns regarding automation and electronic resources.
