Hi all
Please see the message below. If you, or anyone you know, have any examples of specific threats and violence towards librarians that have been experienced here in the UK
or elsewhere in the world, it would be much appreciated if you could get in touch with Marika to share experiences.
Best wishes
Louise

Subject: Threats and violence towards librarians
Dear all,
This is to pass on a request from Marika Sivertsson, who is undertaking some research for the magazine of the Swedish Library Association into violence and threats against librarians internationally.
In particular, she’s interested in the circumstances and countries where these seem to be more of an issue.
If any of you know of experts or good resources in this area, she would be very grateful for your help. The case of Natalya Sharina is, naturally, a first example!
Many thanks,
Stephen
