Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. He was asking for the ‘field weighting citation index for UOAs’ and I would expect him to know the Ref 2021 rules aren’t available yet so I may have misunderstood
his query .

Hi Carol,
Did your research staff member want to know how citations were used by the panels in REF 2014? If so, the information is available at
http://www.ref.ac.uk/pubs/2012-01/. The rules for REF 2021 aren’t available yet.
Not sure if that’s what s/he meant?!

Hello all
I have been asked by one of our research staff to recommend a source which can provide the citation weightings for different units of assessment. At Teesside we don’t subscribe to SciVal so I was hoping helpful and knowledgeable list members
could point me in the right direction of any other sources that would provide this information.
