**********************FINAL REMINDER*****************APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING************************

Dear All,

The CCRP is pleased to announce the 2017 Centre for Competition and Regulatory Policy (CCRP) Summer Round Table on Thursday 6th July 2017. The event will take place at Cass Business School (the same venue as the January 2017 Round Table).

For anyone not familiar with the Round Table events, they attract a wide range of senior external attendees from competition and economic regulation practitioners to academic and consultancy commentators.  The Round Table meetings provide an opportunity to listen to and discuss with the panel members topical issues on competition policy and the economic regulation of infrastructure industries.

This summer the topic for the Round Table is “Brexit and the Future of UK Economic Regulation; Key Issues and Challenges”. The meeting will be chaired by Jon Stern with panellists: Martin Cave (Imperial College Business School), Dan Elliott (Frontier Economics), Dermot Nolan (UKRN), Thomas Sharpe QC (One Essex Court) and Catherine Waddams (Norwich Business School & CCP, University of East Anglia).

The Round Table will be opened by the Dean of School of Arts and Social Sciences, Professor Theo Farrell and CCRP’s director Xeni Dassiou.

Please note that the roundtable will be conducted under the Chatham House Rule and journalists will not be admitted.

Attached is a flyer for the event which includes the link to the webpage for booking a place at https://www.city.ac.uk/events/2017/july/ccrp-roundtable

The event will take place at 11:00-13:00 in room 2003. Registration commences at 10:30, and the event will be followed by a networking lunch at 13:00 Please book as soon as possible to allow the Centre to have a clear number of attendees for catering purposes.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to colleagues within your organisation that you believe may be interested to listen and contribute, bearing in mind the above proviso.

Looking forward to seeing you all in July,

 Best wishes

Xeni
