Yes, I know it isn't Friday, but I need a thesaurus term to describe a small house that is one of several built around a yard as industrial period infill. The yard is often accessed by an alley or passageway from the adjacent street and may (or may not) have a communal pump and drain rather than any facilities in the house itself.
Courtyard House refers to the plan form of a larger house built around a courtyard, whilst Yard House seems to be a unapproved alternative term for the same thing.
Any suggestions?
