We are seeking One MSc or PhD student with experience in GIS data assessment and programming, assisting in producing a decision support system analysing infrastructure interdependencies. The position will be for a period of 1-month (1/07/2017-30/07/2017) with a potential of extension to 6 months.

Responsibilities include:

·         Collecting data on physical and operational asset information for a case study

·         Managing and visualising data on QGIS/Arc GIS

·         Assisting in developing Excel-base VBA module to visualise GIS-based data. 

 Skills and Experience

·         GIS data collection and analysis

·         Managing statistical data (Task-focused categorisation)

·         Visualising data on QGIS/Arc GIs/R

·         Excel VBA /Matlab programming or any other programming back ground

 Duration: Temporary, 4 days per week for 1 month

Remuneration: £13 per hour, 7 hours per day.

Closing date: 26 June 2017

 Location: Anglia Ruskin Chelmsford Campus
