I second Our Lives Press. I love them, and the learners love them.

Anything published by National Geographic (their educational wing) is superb and often have accompanying videos.  All very good quality and pedagogically sound

Hi,

I’m looking at refreshing our library stock of books for ESOL learners and I was wondering if you had any recommendations?

We’ve got a lot of Gatehouse and Penguin readers at the moment but there must be some more wonderful stuff out there! Does anyone know of any good abridged versions of British classics that are not too childlike?

Thanks

Kind Regards,
Nerissa Roberts
