Dear Friends and Colleagues,
As many of you may already know, we received word Tuesday that our friend, colleague and fellow Board Member, Ron Stewart, passed away on the evening of
June 26th.
While I am deeply saddened, I am so thankful to Ron for all he has done to help multitudes of people. His knowledge and leadership has contributed greatly
and enhanced many people's lives. He will be missed but his contributions will continue to have lasting impacts. While most people knew of Ron's work as it related to technology, Ron was really an incredible advocate for access in all of its forms. His contributions
to AHEAD are too numerous to mention but include, serving on the Board, Chairing the Standing Committee on Technology, and setting up our corporate technology resources. These contributions rightfully earned him the Ronald E. Blosser Dedicated Service Award.
As so many have said over the past few days, Ron will be "often thought of and often missed."
