We need to collect a deposit from parents and in previous years we have asked for a cheque which the students bring in when they register.  We are now asking on a deposit form for their bank details such as sort code, account number, account name, bank ...etc.  The aim is that we can then return the refundable part back to this account at a later date.
In terms of data protection can anyone please advise or give me an example of the text I should put on the form regarding that these details will be kept securely and disposed of when no longer required....etc?
