Dear all,

We are running a free workshop entitled ‘Corpus stylistics for the English classroom’ for English teachers on 16 June at the University of Birmingham.

This workshop is part of the AHRC-funded CLiC Dickens project (birmingham.ac.uk/clic) and aims to support teachers in applying corpus methods in the classroom. The day is designed to give teachers hands-on experience using the CLiC web app (clic.bham.ac.uk) and examples of the types of exercises that might be usefully applied in the classroom.

For more information (programme and registration) please visit http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/research/activity/corpus/events/2017/corpus-stylistics-english-classroom.aspx

We hope to see some of you there!

Best wishes,

Viola
