Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Human Osteoarchaeology/Palaeopathology

 

Rated the top department in Scotland at the REF research exercise in 2014, Archaeology at the University of Aberdeen is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with expertise in the study of human skeletal remains to a newly-created substantive post, to teach and undertake research on Human Osteoarchaeology, Palaeopathology and/or Biological Anthropology. This appointment marks the 10th anniversary of the Department at one of Scotland’s oldest Universities, and is part of an exciting development of a centre for the University Museums which will provide a resource hub for the study of the University’s extensive collections of human remains.
