The data.gov data include information in various optional download formats
including ShapeFiles, GML, MapInfo, CSV, etc.  One would assume there are
polygons included for landfills.

One of my bug bears is that, in days gone by, the old landfill polygons
related to the licensed area and not the waste void!  Many a long and
difficult discussion with clients and regulators on those!  These seemed to
change when things changed moving from WMLs to IPPC permits where the
"installation" would be the waste void - not the entire demise.
