Dear List,

Alleyn’s School is offering a part time paid internship in Alleyn’ School Archives in Dulwich, SE London. The Archives Intern will support work to sort and catalogue the archive documents that comprise Alleyn’s School Archive into an ADLIB collections management system so that items can be made more accessible to the Archive’s users. The role holder may also assist in the creation of an exhibition in  summer 2018 based on new findings from the Archive during the cataloguing project.

The work will suit anyone with a proven interest in following an archives, museum, heritage interpretation or general heritage career. You will have completed your undergraduate degree as well as a period of voluntary work in a formal archive service. It is anticipated that you will apply for a recognised postgraduate archive or heritage MA degree during this internship and that this work will contribute to your pre-course work experience. Applications from people who have already completed a general heritage MA may also be considered.

More details are on the Alleyn’s School Website, under Senior School and then vacancies   https://www.alleyns.org.uk/Vacancies.aspx
