This is a great opportunity to be part of Gloucestershire Archives’ exciting ‘For the Record’ project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
We are looking for an experienced cataloguing archivist used to working with business records. We need you to appraise and catalogue the extensive archive of the Dowty Group (an engineering firm founded by George Dowty in the 1930s). You
will be working closely with project volunteers and stakeholders to deliver the Dowty Heritage strand.
This is a fixed term contract for 30 months; the first 6 months will be spent on collections management tasks and the next 24 months focused on Dowty.
