Dear list members,
there are still places available to attend the "International Workshop on Disease Mapping in Low-resource Settings", that will be held on 14-15 September 2017 at Lancaster University.

This workshop will bring together international experts from statistics and epidemiology to present and discuss some of the most challenging problems and recent advances in disease mapping, with a particular focus on applications in developing countries.

Topics of particular interest are:
- Model-based geostatistics
- Ecological disease mapping
- Small-area estimation
- Historical mapping of infectious diseases
- Integrating multiple data-sources

We also invite submission of poster abstracts to be presented at the workshop.

For more information, see the following link

I would be grateful if you could share this with anyone who might be interested in attending and/or presenting a poster at the workshop.
Thanks.
