Senior Principal Statistician – Basel – 140.000CHF

Optimus Life Sciences are working with a leading pharmaceutical healthcare organisation to hep employ a Senior Principal Statistician. The role is based in the global headquarters and will work closely with the Biometrics Department to ensure that compounds in development are brought successfully through trials and onto the market.

The position will function as a subject matter expert within the group, working in cross-functional teams with Programmers, Statisticians and Data Managers you will advise on Statistical mythologies and help answer any questions.

 Job Responsibilities

• Work with leadership team to develop clinical development strategies, regulatory and commercial strategies.
• Take a leadership responsibility for planning and reviewing of protocols and documentation relating to statistics and submissions and the accompanying meetings.
• Plan and direct compound level analysis and reporting activities.
• Take responsibility of vendor selection and management.
• Take responsibility for the successful completion of deliverables.

 

Candidate Requirements

• PhD/MSc in Statistical/Mathematical field.
• Minimum 8 years experiences working in Clinical Trial Statistics.
• Proven experience working in project management/team leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of FDA and ICH regulations and industry standards.
