Statistical Analysis of Multi-outcome data (SAM) 2017 conference - Registration deadline 5th June

Only a few days are left to register for the Statistical Analysis of Multi-outcome data (SAM) 2017 conference, which will take place at the University of Liverpool on the 3rd and 4th July 2017, registration deadline 5th June. A timetable is now available at https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/translational-medicine/research/sam-conference/programme/. The submitted talks cover a wide range of topics including novel approaches to modelling longitudinal data or survival data, joint modelling, multivariate data and risk prediction.

As well as the contributed talks, we have the privilege of welcoming four invited speakers, who will be talking on the following subjects:

Gary Collins – “Prediction Models: Issue in Methodological Conduct and Reporting”

Michael Crowther - “A general multilevel estimation framework: Multivariate joint models and more”

Peter J Diggle - “Modelling repeated measurement data with longer-than-Gaussian tails.”

Richard Emsley – “New approaches to longitudinal causal mediation analysis”

A conference dinner will be held at the Metropolitan Cathedral on the evening of the 3rd July. For further details of the conference and to register see www.liverpool.ac.uk/sam2017. For up-to-date information about the conference please follow our twitter feed @SAM2017conf .

The conference will be followed by an optional half-day workshop on 5th July exploring the joint models of longitudinal and time-to-event outcomes, with focus on multivariate longitudinal data and competing risks. Further details can be found at https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/translational-medicine/research/sam-conference/workshop/. Places are limited, and are restricted to conference attendees.

Registration is currently open for the conference (see https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/translational-medicine/research/sam-conference/registration/), but will close on the 5th June. A limited numbers of rooms are available to book during registration, situated directly opposite the conference venue.

Many thanks
