Artificial Intelligence

http://www.bcs-sgai.org/realai2017

This year's one-day event in our Real AI series will be held on Friday
October 6th 2017 at the BCS London Office (near Covent Garden) from 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m. This event is designed to showcase practical applications of
artificial intelligence, of particular interest to business and industry.

This year's talks are entitled:

- AI and Logistics: Dr. David Sharp (Ocado Technology)

- AI and Modelling: Dr. Christos Tsotskas (Transport Systems Catapult)

- AI and Security: Prof. Trevor Martin (BT/University of Bristol)

- AI and Decision-Support: Ralph Traphöner (Empolis)

- AI and Transport: Dr Stelios Kapetanakis (University of Brighton)

As an innovation, this year's BCS Machine Intelligence competition will be
held as a number of short sessions between the talks at Real AI. This will
feature live demonstrations of applications that show 'progress towards
machine intelligence'. The presenter of the best application, chosen by
delegate voting, will receive a cash prize plus a trophy. For more
information see http://bcs-sgai.org/micomp/.

The delegate fee is £90 (plus VAT) for BCS and SGAI members and £100 (plus
VAT) for others. This includes lunch and refreshments. A special fee of £50
+ VAT is available for students.
