I’m not sure this is a normal request for the mailbase and I hope it’s allowed – I just couldn’t think of another way to easily get this information.

 

I have had some discussions with the South West England Cancer Network who are keen to look at implementing FIT for symptomatic pathways.  I advised that one of the first things they need to do is contact the local biochemistry departments who will ultimately be responsible for deciding whether they offer the test or not.  I helpfully said that if they sent me a list of hospitals I’d find contact details for the biochemists in each.  The list is below.  If you work in one of these hospitals and wouldn’t mind me putting you in touch with the SW England Cancer network to start FIT discussions please could you get back to me?
