Hey PSCI-COM,

Here at the Royal Society of Biology we run an annual science communication award scheme, and this year’s competition is now open for entries:

Royal Society of Biology Science Communication Awards 2017

Are you a bioscience researcher involved in science communication? The Royal Society of Biology Science Communication Awards<https://www.rsb.org.uk/get-involved/awards-and-competitions/science-communication-awards> have returned for 2017.

This competition is open to researchers working in any sector of UK biosciences, including universities, institutes and industry. They are intended to reward outreach work carried out by young scientists and established researchers to inform, enthuse and engage the public.

There are two categories of award:

· The New Researcher Prize (£750) is open to bioscience researchers currently reading for a Masters/PhD or in the first year of a post-doctoral position

· The Established Researcher Prize (£1,500) is open to bioscience researchers who are beyond the first stages of their research career, as defined in the New Researcher category.

The deadline for applications is Friday 30th June 2017.

Please contact Isabel Brinsden<mailto:[log in to unmask]> with any enquiries.

Thanks all!
