Hi Eleanor,
I was at a great event run by Gomisiwn Brenhinol Henebion Cymru (which translates as Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of
Wales)
They had a number of speakers using tech specifically on historic sites. Some were using scanning for surveying (including using volunteers), some
drones, VR, crowd-sourcing historic tythe maps.
Loads of stuff - presentations here:

I’d suggest you get in touch with them. They will have more leads if you need them more specifically in one area.
Their site is here
or if you want it in English…

And also….
Back with my moderator hat on, can I just shout out to everyone for the great responses to this and other recent posts from MCG peeps – good to see.
Keep it coming.
Remember, if you haven’t posted but thought about it, then just do it. This is a friendly forum, so if you think you might have a useful lead, then
assume you do and just go for it 😊

Subject: Digitally Interpretting Historic Sites
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some interesting projects where historic sites have been interpreted with technology rather than traditional interpretation
panels?
Thanks!
Eleanor
