Here in Northampton we gave up providing staplers for the same reason quite a few years ago (along with hole punchers too). We do have multifunctional printers/copiers and these do staple documents for users. We advertise how they can do this and provide paperclips if they have not chosen the correct options during print set up. We are currently trialling the Rapid Omnipress stapler SO60 and it lasted 5 months. An improvement on previous models. I would certainly be interested in any bomb proof staplers!
