*With apologies for cross posting*

List members maybe interested in an online discussion about "Archaeological Standards and Guidance: what are they for and who sets them?", which forms part of the 21st Century Challenges for Archaeology” project  led by CIfA and Historic England. As the title suggests, the project seeks ways forward and possible solutions for the big challenges facing archaeology in England. The online discussion will take place on the Historic England LinkedIn group on 10–11 May.

We look forward to you joining the discussion on the Historic England group and having your say.

In the meantime if you'd like to find to find out more about the back ground to the project please see the Historic England https://historicengland.org.uk/whats-new/research/21st-century-challenges-archaeology/

and CIfA

If you don’t wish to use LinkedIn, or you’d prefer to be anonymous, you can still take part by contacting me off-list via email with your thoughts on the questions about Standards and Guidance available on the CIfA link above, I will post them to the LinkedIn discussion. However please note that contributions should be succinct  (not more than 1,000 characters) to enable ease of posting in the LinkedIn format.

Best wishes

Robin
